Social media and social networking sites can amplify the positives and negatives of everyday life for young people, and can expose them to new opportunities and new risks. These online digital tools can offer a diverse range of opportunities to engage with young people and promote their participation in local youth services. Explore both how to support young people as they engage in these environments; and learn how to practically and creatively use social media and social networking to enhance the delivery of young people service(s). Objective of the training course is to enable delegates to create a practical online strategy to integrate into their work supported with a professional qualification to evidence their understanding and learning.
