This is an open space event bringing together senior managers, young people, practitioners from education, youth work, participation and voluntary youth projects with digital media developers and experts to share ideas and practice.  To explore what the digital world means for young people’s lives, and for services seeking to support young people as they navigate growing up in a connected world. People can suggest topics for agenda before the the event, just tweet your topic suggestion to:

We hope to have a few guest speakers to share their expertise and experiences of digital media and youth engagement. They will present in-between the agreed agenda by the attending delegates. We will confirm the agenda on the day, and built around the ideas, experiences and questions that participants bring. Topics at past events have included: understanding young people’s digital media use; creating an online presence for your youth project; digital literacy; keeping young people safe online; creating policies and guidance for practitioners; social media tips and tricks; identifying the right tools for the job; social media for youth participation and local democracy; building websites with young people; virtual volunteering; mobile technology for youth work; and much more.

17.20-17.45pm  Group discussion to agree agenda topics for the conference

17.45-18.15pm Debate session 1 (4 debates to take place simultaneously)  

18.45-18.55pm Migreate to next debate session

19.00-19.30pm Debate session 2 (4 debates to take place simultaneously) 

19.30-19.40pm Migreate to main hall for presentation 

19.40-20.00pm Guest speakers Hong Kong Social Services Team 

20.00-20-.30pm  Debate session 2 (4 debates to take place simultaneously)

20.30-20.50pm Feeback from the debate sessions: Refelctions, actions, questions from twitter

20.50-21.00pm Closing comments and thanks to everyone.
