Exploring youth engagement in a digital age
Hi there, just wanted to get peoples experience on using social media video calling such as Skype or Google+ hangouts - I run a countywide group for young people, but some of our group are at University so for them to attend meetings that might take place for only 2 hours is not practical. One of my thoughts is that we could hold the meeting in a centre that has wifi and use the group conference facility on Skype so that they can all take part in the meeting - has anyone tried this and what were the logistical nightmares you were faced with - I imagine there to be plenty (bandwith, capacity of laptops).
All ideas and thoughts welcome...
