There are currently over 75 million people who have joined Twitter. 10,000 people join Twitter each day. It is becoming an important tool to communicate your service to young people, other clients, partners and funders. Twitter can also keep you up-dated around a wide range of opportunities.

Last year was an interesting year for digital youth work. In some ways, the centrality of social media, the Internet and digital tools is becoming just an accepted part of the way youth work should take place - in other ways, we're still a long way from digital skills being mainstream - and although many initiatives are taking place across Europe to explore digital youth work they are taking place in pockets not altogether connected up.
