An unConference for 2009? The follow up to UKYouthOnline08

Last year 50 of us got together one Saturday at the offices of DIUS and had a great day exploring all aspect of digital media and youth engagement. You can see some of what we got up to in the photos below:


It's just about time we did it again - so - let's get planning for the best learning-packed event of the year for anyone working with technology and young people....

• We need to choose a date. If you might be interested in coming along then head over here and tell me which of the suggested days you are free on.
• If you're up for getting involved in the organising (all very lightweight - nothing major), leave a comment below. Jobs might include helping find a venue, getting the word out, sorting out lunch, arranging projectors, creating a logo, or just being around to help steward on the day.
• If you might be able to help with sponsorship for the event then drop me a line or leave a comment below. We'll try to keep the event free again as it was last year. We're not talking big money sponsorship, just helping us out in finding a venue and providing some lunch - in return for the chance to get known by loads of passionate people working on digital technology in the informal education sector.

That's it for now. I'll be pulling together more plans, and getting back to everyone who wants to get involved just after Easter. But this should get the ball rolling....
